QuickPlay

QuickPlay

Play poses and custom animations faster than ever with QuickPlay, a small mod that adds a “Play custom animation” option when you click on an active Sim (i.e. your Sim), and a “Play a two-Sim animation” option when you click on another Sim.

QuickPlay is an alternative to Cmomoney’s Animation Player and Pose Player. To use it, you will need to know the names of the poses/animations you want to play (e.g. “a_jump_high”).

Instructions

  1. Install mod – click here for instructions on installing mods
  2. Click your Sim (or another Sim for two-Sim animations) and select “QuickPlay”, then “Play custom animation”
  3. Enter the name of the pose/animation you want to play and hit Enter
  4. Cancel the action to end the animation

Druglord

Image

Druglord

6 in the mornin’, police at my door. Fresh Adidas squeak across the bathroom floor.

Druglord allows your Sim to make money buying and selling drugs. Every Sim in your town involved with drugs can be approached to buy/sell. Your Sim must be shady enough to do any buying/selling. The mod decides based on traits, e.g. Rebellious, or Party Animal. Click on your Sim to check your Stash at any time.

Every day the quantity and prices of every Sim’s drugs are changed, allowing you to make your rounds looking for good buys, and making profitable sales. Your Stash is not affected by daily randomization.

Druglord is a small pure-scripting mod that should not conflict with any other mods or require any expansions. Its basic and a million different features could be added to improve it. Maybe I will offer updates and improvements as I have time. Have fun.

Technical notes

Sims are in the drug trade if they have any of the following traits:
Evil, Inappropriate, Insane, Loser, Neurotic, PartyAnimal, RebelInfluence, Rebellious, Slob, Unlucky, Unstable

This mod is inspired by John Dell’s 1984 game Drug Wars which later became a DOS classic known as Dope Wars. The name Druglord comes from a 1992 FantasyWare spinoff by Phil Erwin, which I played the crap out of as a kid.

Hitman

brando130Hitman

Hitman

Sometimes a Sim just can’t find their place in the world. Other times, it’s just business. For those angry, lost, or just plain sociopathic Sims, we offer Hitman, a mod that adds “Shoot Point Blank” and “Hire Hitman to Whack” interactions between adult Sims. Warning: The victim will die.

Instructions

  1. Install mod – click here for instructions on installing mods
  2. Using an adult Sim, click on another adult Sim. The interactions are under “Hitman…” and are called “Shoot…point blank” and “Hire hitman to whack…”
  3. If you use a Hitman, make sure the victim is on a Lot (a Community Lot is fine, but just not out in the middle of the road, for example)
  4. If you do the deed yourself, and then hang around after the shooting, your Sim may get negative moodlets from ‘Witnessing Death’ – avoid this by fleeing the scene within 10 seconds or so after shooting

Technical Notes

Shortly after the other Sim is shot, the Grim Reaper should come and collect them. Sometimes the Reaper never shows, leaving a ghost behind. So you may want to make a quick save of your game before you go on a rampage, or you may have a few spirits in your Town that never made it to the other side.

Other errors, particularly when routing the active Sim or Hitman to the victim, have been seen. These are generally not exclusive to this mod and are just part of the general wonkiness of the Sims 3 routing methods.
